Terry Wayne Tarwater, Jr.

MR. WAYNE TARWATER Mr. Wayne Tarwarter, 46, of LaGrange, died Friday, March 16, 2012, at Hospice LaGrange. The funeral service will be conducted at 12:00 noon, Monday, March 19, in the Chapel of Claude A. McKibben and Sons Funeral Home in Hogansville. The Reverend Jerry Scarborough will officiate and interment will be in Shadowlawn Cemetery in LaGrange. The family will receive friends at the funeral home after 10:00 a.m., Sunday. Mr. Tarwater was born June 6, 1965, in LaGrange, son of the late Terry Wayne Tarwater, Sr. and the late Wylene Thomason Tarwater. He was a lifelong resident of LaGrange, was employed as an assistant store manager by Dollar General, and was a member of the Independent Church of Worship. Survivors include his brother, Wendell Merlin Tarwater of LaGrange; several aunts and uncles, including, Charles and Frances Tarwater of LaGrange and Edna Fields of Greenville; and a number of cousins, including Paula Edwards of Valley, AL and Milton Edwards of Lanett, AL. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Debra Elaine Tarwater. Claude A. McKibben and Sons Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
