Terry W. Searels

Mr. Terry W. Searels, 80, of Hogansville, passed away Friday, March 18, 2022, at Tanner Medical Center in Carrollton. Born August 6, 1941, in Hogansville, Mr. Searels was the son of the late Clarence Madison Searels and Edna Teal Searels Masdon. He retired as a project manager for Piedmont Mechanical after thirty years of service and was a Past Master of Hogansville Masonic Lodge #93. Mr. Searels was a member and deacon of First Baptist Church of Hogansville, where he was active in helping the Men's Ministry construct 22 handicap ramps for those in need in the Hogansville area. He loved being able to spend time with his family and especially with his grandchildren. Survivors include his wife of 49 years, Gail Searels; his children, Shane (Jennifer) Searels, all of Hogansville, Kathy (Kelly) Gipson and Tony (Karen) Searels, all of Green Cove Springs, FL; sisters, Toni (Mike) Hilley of Williamson, Brenda Autry of Carrollton; brothers, Mickey (Mary) Searels of DeRidder, LA, Danny Searels of Hogansville; grandchildren, Gavin, Breanna, Nathan, Kimberly, Michelle, Michael, Marcus, Terry, and Jessieka; and several great-grandchildren. The funeral service will be 4:30 p.m., Sunday, March 20, in the Chapel of Claude A. McKibben and Sons Funeral Home in Hogansville. Rev. Clinton Hughes and Pastor Greg Morris will officiate and interment will be in Myrtle Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 6 until 8 Saturday night.
