Teresa Smith Todd

Mrs. Teresa Smith Todd, 63, of Greenville, passed away Monday, January 17, 2022, at Piedmont Newnan Hospital. Mrs. Todd was born August 24, 1958, in Toccoa, daughter of the late Reverend Travis Horace Smith, Sr. and Katie Lee Collins Smith. She was a saved and committed Christian and was a graduate of Faith Bible Institute. She was a member of New Hope Baptist Church in Greenville, where she served as treasurer and pianist, and was a supporter of The Jewish Voice in Jerusalem. Survivors include her husband, Mark Todd of Greenville, whom she met while they were attending Truett-McConnell College in Cleveland; sons and daughters in-law, Joey and Stephanie Todd of Newnan, Benjamin and Kimberly Todd of West Point; and two grandchildren, Connor Todd and Caylee Todd. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Frances Franklin; and her brother, Travis Horace Smith, Jr. The funeral service will be conducted at 3:00 p.m., Saturday, January 22, at New Hope Baptist Church in Greenville. The Reverend Kenneth Whitlock and the Reverend Clint Whitlock will officiate and interment will be in New Hope Cemetery.
