Teresa Ann Coggins

Mrs. Teresa Ann Coggins, 64, of the Corinth Community of Heard County, passed away Thursday, July 20, 2017, at her home. Mrs. Coggins was born October 19, 1952, in LaGrange, daughter of the late James and Betty Odom Matthews. A former resident of the Atlanta area, she was a retired waitress, had lived at Corinth for several years, and attended the Lighthouse Tabernacle of Jesus Christ in Hogansville. Survivors include her daughters, Shannon Banks of Hogansville and Heather Yearta of Franklin; sisters, Sandra Close and Mary Sullivan, both of Senora, KY, Tina Payne of New Albany, IN, and Lisa Smith of New Salisbury, IN; three grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. A service is not being planned at this time. Claude A. McKibben and Sons Funeral Home of Hogansville is in charge of arrangements.
