Teresa Short Arrington

MRS. TERESA ARRINGTON Mrs. Teresa Short Arrington, 56, of LaGrange, died Sunday, January 3, 2009, at Hospice LaGrange. The funeral service will be conducted at 2:00 p.m., Thursday, January 7, in the Chapel of Claude A. McKibben and Sons Funeral Home in Hogansville. The Reverend Dalton Hammock and the Reverend James Johnson will officiate and interment will be in Meadoway Gardens. Born April 5, 1953, in West Point, Mrs. Arrington was the daughter of the late Ruben Thomas Short and Annie Hollis Short Comby. She lived in LaGrange most of her life, was a member of The Pentecostal Church, and was employed by Hill Oil Co. Survivors include her husband, William Arrington; children, Michael Arrington, Ginger Watson, Shane Arrington, Mandy Alvarado, and Joey Arrington, all of LaGrange; grandchildren, Josh, Amanda, and Megan Arrington, Jessica Arrington, Kimberly Watson, Jonathan, Kaylin, Teresa Lynn, and Jacob Hyatt, and Dylan and Elizabeth Arrington; brothers, Larry Short and Charles Short; and sisters, Delores Bailey and Ann Bragg, all of LaGrange. She was a preceded in death by a daughter, Amanda Charmaine Arrington; and a sister, Denise Bright. Claude A. McKibben and Sons Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Visitation: Visitation will be from 6 until 8 Wednesday night, January 6th, at Claude A. McKibben and Sons Funeral Home in Hogansville. At other times, the family will be at the home of Ginger and Howard Watson at 141 Robert Taylor Rd. in LaGrange. Services: 2:00 p.m., Thursday, January 7th, in the Chapel of Claude A.
