Tera Vowell Geeter

Mrs. Tera Vowell Geeter, 61, of LaGrange, died Thursday, Nov. 3, 2011, at home. Born Dec. 27, 1949, in LaGrange, Mrs. Geeter was the daughter of the late Grady and Mildred Eastridge Vowell. She was a lifelong resident of Troup County and was a homemaker. Survivors include her daughters, Christy Rice and Kasey Geeter; sister, Lera Roberson; brothers, Dennis Vowell, Billy Vowell, Jimmy Vowell, Jody Vowell, Gary Vowell, and Jerry Vowell; grandchildren, Levi, JJ, Gracie, Ashley, Skylar, and Kayla; and a great-grandchild, Raelin, all of LaGrange. Funeral Services will be 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, in the Chapel of Claude A. McKibben and Sons Funeral Home in Hogansville. The Reverend Chris King will officiate and interment will be in the Greyhill Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Tuesday evening from 4 until 8.
