Ted Edwin Newton

Mr. Ted Edwin Newton, 58, of Grantville, GA passed away Friday, April 14, 2017. Mr. Newton was born November 8, 1958, son of the late Paul and Betty Steffin Newton. A resident of Grantville for seven years, he had lived in Coweta County for a number of years and had been employed as a welder. He was a member of First Pentecostal Holiness Church of Newnan. Survivors include his wife, Lisa Newton of Grantville; daughter and son in-law, Jessica and Josh Beusse of Athens; son, Levi Newton of Grantville; sisters, Regina Hickman of Centre, AL, Melinda Hornsby of Lawrenceville; brother, Gary Newton of Atlanta; and grandchildren, Paxton Beusse, Aaron Beusse, and Jacob Beusse. The funeral service will be conducted at 4:00 p.m., Friday, April 21, in the Chapel of Claude A. McKibben and Sons Funeral Home in Hogansville. The Reverend Joe Strickland will officiate. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 2 until 4 Friday afternoon. Claude A. McKibben and Sons Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
