Tammy Rosser Pittman, 61, of Salem, AL, entered into eternal rest Monday, July 7, 2025, at her home.
Mrs. Pittman was born June 7, 1964, in Troup County and had lived in the East Alabama and West Georgia area most of her life. She was a very nurturing person who loved caring for her grandchildren and helping others. She enjoyed cooking, gardening, taking care of her plants, and was an avid Georgia Tech Yellow Jacket fan.
Survivors include her husband, Cris Pittman of Salem; her children, Jonathan Brooke Clontz of Columbus, Robert Elliott of Columbus, Stephen Chad Elliott of Phenix City, AL, Benjamin Pittman of Salem, Nicholas Pittman (Jessica) of Phenix City, and Kaylie Pittman (Jermaine Browning) of Opelika, AL; fifteen grandchildren including Jonathan Michael Clontz and Dillan Clontz whom she raised; two great-grandchildren soon to arrive; brothers, Chris Bartlett (Sheila) of Ellerslie, Ron Bowman (Michelle) of Hogansville; and sister, Melanie Dodgen (David) of Hogansville. She was preceded in death by her son, Anthony Lifsey and her mother, Mary Malone Keeney.
The funeral service will be conducted at 11:00 a.m., Friday, July 11, in the Chapel of Claude A. McKibben and Sons Funeral Home in Hogansville. Pastor David Dodgen will officiate and interment will be in Myrtle Hill Cemetery.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Thursday, July 10.
