Tammy Lee Hunt, 53, of Hogansville, passed away Monday, March 7, 2016, at Grady Memorial Hospital in Atlanta.
Tammy was born February 20, 1963, in LaGrange, daughter of the late Hewlett Billy Hunt and Dorothy Hunter Hunt. A graduate of Hogansville High School, she was a veteran of service in the U.S. Army, and lived in Mississippi before returning to Hogansville ten years ago. She had been employed as a pipefitter and attended Hogansville Church of God.
Survivors include her son, Ronnie Hunt; sister, Marsha Hunt Drake and her husband Buddy of Atlanta; brothers, Ray Hunt and Billy Hunt and his wife Sarah, all of LaGrange. She was a loving aunt to her nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.
The funeral service will be conducted at 3:00 p.m., Saturday, March 12, in the Chapel of Claude A. McKibben and Sons Funeral Home in Hogansville. The Reverend Randall Hodge will officiate and interment will be in Myrtle Hill Cemetery.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 1 until 3 Saturday afternoon.
