Talmadge "Tuck" Tucker

Mr. Talmadge "Tuck" Tucker, 84 of Hogansville, passed away Thursday, February 13, 2025, at Wellstar West Georgia Medical Center.

Mr. Tucker was born April 27, 1940 in Woodruff, SC and had been a resident of Hogansville since 2001. He retired as a construction superintendent with Fluor Daniel Construction after 43 years of service and was a member of Grace Covenant Worship Center. Mr. Tucker had a great sense of humor, could light up any room he walked in, and golf was his enjoyment in life.

Survivors include his wife, Charlotte Tucker of Hogansville; children, Tammy Vaughn (Mike) of Woodruff, SC, Tommy Tucker (Katy) of Franklin, Tim Tucker (Nicole) of Eddyville, KY, Laurie Wilkerson (Tim) of LaGrange, and Kevin Freeman of Hogansville; brother in-law, Harold Chesney of Woodruff, SC; and he was "Papa Tuck" to 13 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren. Mr. Tucker was preceded in death by his son, TV Tucker, Jr "Podjo"; daughter, Debbie Lynn Patterson; mother, Jerome Sherbert Fortner; step-father, Lawrence Fortner; and his sister, Peggy Chesney.

Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m., Saturday, February 15, in the Chapel of Claude A. McKibben and Sons Funeral Home. Pastor Alex Montgomery will officiate and interment will be in Myrtle Hill Cemetery.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 12 until 2 Saturday afternoon.
