Sylvia Louise Neal

MRS. SYLVIA NEAL Mrs. Sylvia Louise Neal, 80, of Blountville, TN and formerly of Grantville, died Wednesday, August 25, 2010, at Holston Manor in Kingsport, TN. Mrs. Neal was born May 24, 1930, in Ninety Six, SC, daughter of the late Daniel Floyd Miller and the late Florence Rosalee Seabolt Miller. Before making her home in Tennessee earlier this year, she had lived in Grantville since 1980, was a member of the First Baptist Church of Grantville, and had served as a clerk in the Coweta County Ordinary's Office and as a houseparent at Georgia Baptist Children's Home. She was the wife of the late Tom Max Neal, Sr. Survivors include her sons, Tom Max Neal, Jr. of Jonesboro and Steven Gregory Neal of Blountville, TN; sisters, Reba Craig, Jo Anne Miller, and Janice Miller; brothers, Daniel Floyd Miller and Jerry Miller; four grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren. In accordance with Mrs. Neal's wishes, the body has been cremated and there will be a family gathering in the Grantville Cemetery at a later date. Claude A.
