MISS LYNN McGILL
Miss Sylvia Lynn McGill, 56, of Macon, died Friday, January 11, 2013, at Pine Pointe Hospice in Macon, following a yearlong illness.
Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, January 15, in the Chapel of Claude A. McKibben and Sons Funeral Home in Hogansville. The Reverend Harry Cain will officiate and interment will be in Myrtle Hill Cemetery.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 6 until 8 Monday night.
Born March 16, 1956, Miss McGill was a daughter of the late Zelma Leondas McGill and Velma Hanners McGill. She had lived in Macon since 1968, was a graduate of the University of Georgia, and was employed as a graphic artist for L-3 Communications. She was considered the anchor of her family.
Survivors include her brothers and sister in-law, Jeffrey and Christy McGill, Michael McGill; sister, Patricia Franklin, all of Macon; and several nieces and nephews.
Claude A. McKibben and Sons Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
