Mrs. Susie Ann Keith Roberts, of Greenville, passed away Tuesday, December 8, 2015, at her home.
Mrs. Roberts was born September 12, 1932, in Hogansville, daughter of the late Marshall and Lurline Rosser Keith. A lifelong resident of Meriwether County, she was a graduate of Greenville High School and attended Bessie Tift College in Forsyth. She was employed as a secretary for U.S. Rubber Company in Hogansville from 1951 until 1966 and then assisted her husband in the operation of Roberts Garage in Greenville from 1966 until their retirement in 1997. Mrs. Roberts was an active member of Greenville Baptist Church, where she had served in many different capacities.
Survivors include her daughter, Cindy R. Ledford of Greenville; granddaughters, Ashley L. Fuller and her husband Ryan of Greenville, Kelly Ann Ledford of Hogansville and her fiancée Andy Mitchell; great-grandsons, Cooper Ryan Fuller and Colten Keith Fuller, of Greenville; brother in-law, Russell (Buck) Willingham; niece, Caroline Nivens; and nephew, Frank Willingham, all of Hogansville. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Roberts was preceded in death by her husband, Donald W. Roberts; and sisters, Patsy Keith Willingham and Jane Keith Cato.
A memorial service will be conducted at 2:00 p.m., Thursday, December 10, at Greenville Baptist Church. The Reverend Jonathan Porter will officiate and interment will be in the Greenville Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 5 until 7 Wednesday night at Claude A. McKibben and Sons Funeral Home in Hogansville.
