Susie Belcher Carter

Mrs. Susie Belcher Carter, 60, of LaGrange, passed away Sunday, November 7, 2021, at East Alabama Medical Center in Opelika, AL. Mrs. Carter was born April 24, 1961, in Newnan, daughter of the late Ralph and Estelle Coursey Belcher. She was raised in Hogansville, enjoyed fishing, gardening, and Georgia Bulldog football. Survivors include her sisters, Doris Jones of LaGrange, Evelyn Perry of Lanett, AL, and June Dorminey of Franklin; brother, Randall Belcher of Newnan; and a number of nieces and nephews. Services will be conducted at 11:30 a.m., Thursday, November 11, in the Chapel of Claude A. McKibben and Sons Funeral Home in Hogansville, with Pastor T J Boyd officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 9:30 a.m. until 11:30 a.m. Thursday. Claude A. McKibben and Sons Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
