Susan Reynolds

Ms. Susan Reynolds, 63, of Hogansville, passed away Thursday, August 4, 2022, in the comfort of her home. Ms. Reynolds was born November 24, 1958 to the late James Ozzy Smith and Dorothy Pike Smith of Heard County. She practiced as a licensed practical nurse and provided care to residents of Troup and surrounding counties for over 40 years. Hogansville had been her home since 1997 where she had been an active community volunteer, serving as a coordinator in the early years of the Hummingbird Festival and assisting in organizing the Freedom Follies and various car show fund-raisers. She was a dedicated and proud citizen of Hogansville. Survivors include her daughters and son in-law, Dixie Connolly and her husband Joseph Connolly III of Stugart, Germany and Chelsey Reynolds of Hogansville; and her grandchildren, Kaitlyn, Isabella, Arba, Cùchulainn, Ezra, and Fox. A memorial service will be conducted at 5:30 p.m. Wednesday, August 10, in the Chapel of Claude A. McKibben and Sons Funeral Home.
