Miss Susan "Sue" Diane Nixon, 55, of LaGrange, passed away Thursday, February 9, 2017, at Wellstar West Georgia Medical Center.
Miss Nixon was born April 4, 1961, in LaGrange, was Baptist by faith and lived in LaGrange all of her life.
Survivors include her mother, Marie Nixon; sisters and brothers in-law, Kay and Steve Cagle, Pam and Kenneth May, Connie and Shane McClung, all of West Point; nieces and nephews, Adam Cagle, Jacob Cagle, Ashley Clifton, and Wesley McClung; several great-nieces and great-nephews; and a special aunt and uncle, Pat and Emmett Head of West Point. She was preceded in death by her father, Wesley Nixon.
The funeral service will be conducted at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, February 11, in the Chapel of Claude A. McKibben and Sons Funeral Home in Hogansville. The Reverend Jody Mitchell will officiate and interment will be in Restlawn Memory Gardens.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 10 until 11 Saturday morning and at other times will be at the home of her mother in West Point.
