Styles Junior Mcguffin

Mr. Styles J. McGuffin, 94, of Hogansville, passed away Monday, December 25, 2017, at his home. Mr. McGuffin was born December 24, 1923, in Anniston, Alabama, son of the late Stiles Vernon McGuffin and Velma Inez McGuffin. A resident of Hogansville for 45 years, he was Baptist by faith and retired from Uniroyal, Inc. Survivors include his children, Elaine Garsee of West Point, James McGuffin and his wife Frances of LaGrange, Polly Fowler of LaGrange, Gurtha and Joseph Miner of Conyers; 10 grandchildren; 31 great-grandchildren; and 12 great-great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife, Sheila Settle McGuffin. The family is following Mr. McGuffin's instructions that there be no services conducted and that he be buried in Myrtle Hill Cemetery in Hogansville. Claude A. McKibben and Sons Funeral Home of Hogansville is in charge of arrangements.
