Steven Tabachnick

Mr. Steven Tabachnick, 72, of Greenville, passed away Tuesday, January 21, 2020, at Pruitt Healthcare in Franklin. Mr. Tabachnick was born September 20, 1947, in Roselle, NJ, son of the late Irving Tabachnick and Bella Levine Tabachnick. A veteran of service in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War, he was a retired auto mechanic and was a member of Rehoboth Baptist Church in Luthersville. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and going to auctions, and was a loving father, grandfather and friend. Survivors include his daughter, Melissa Acker of Greenville; and his grandchildren, Trevor Steven Tabachnick and Savannah Rose Acker. The family will host a memorial service at 4:00 p.m., Tuesday, July 28, at Rehoboth Baptist Church in Luthersville, with Pastor Brian Hosmer officiating. The family will greet friends at the church. Claude A. McKibben and Sons Funeral Home of Hogansville is assisting the family of Mr. Tabachnick.
