Steven Kenneth Simpson

Mr. Steven Kenneth Simpson, 44, of Moreland, passed away Sunday, December 15, 2024, at Piedmont Newnan Hospital.

Mr. Simpson was born December 25, 1979, at Newnan Hospital, lived in Coweta County most of his life, and was employed as a truck driver. A member of New Hope Baptist Church, he loved to bowl, was a member of Underground Bowling Association, and had previously enjoyed participating in drag racing and dirt track racing.

Survivors include his wife, Pebbles Simpson; daughter, Amber McClellan (John); son, Thomas Simpson (Trisha Doolittle), all of Moreland; his father and step-mother, Steve and Kim Simpson of Luthersville; sister, Ashley Simpson of North Liberty, IA; brothers, David Checkle, Jr. of Riverdale, Wayne White (Sherri) of Senoia, and Tim Ferrell (Lisa) of Moreland; his maternal grandfather, Kenneth Martin of Luthersville; and Mason Randall,a grandson soon to arrive. He was preceded in death by his mother, Pamela Martin Simpson.

The family will host a memorial service at 1:00 p.m., Saturday, January 4, 2024, at Alvaton Baptist Church, with Pastor Byrom Martin officiating.

The family will receive friends at the church from 12:00 p.m. until 1:00 p.m., January 4th, prior to the service.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the funeral home to assist the family with the funeral expenses.
