Steven Howard Hockmuth

Mr. Steven Howard Hockmuth, 64, of Hogansville, passed away March 15, 2016, at Hospice LaGrange. Mr. Hockmuth was born January 12, 1952, in Rockford, Illinois, son of the late Howard Frederick Hockmuth and Katherine Pollock Hockmuth. An Army veteran of the Vietnam War, he lived in Wisconsin for a number of years before making his home in Hogansville. He had been employed as a federal police officer. Survivors include his sons, Sean Hockmuth, Steven Hockmuth, and Jason Hockmuth; fiancée, Alberta Peters; sisters, Tammy Hockmuth-Klewer and Debra Hockmuth-Ree; two granddaughters; and three grandsons. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Amy Hockmuth. A memorial service will be conducted at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, March 26, at City Lights Church in LaGrange. The family will receive friends at the church. Claude A. McKibben and Sons Funeral Home of Hogansville is in charge of arrangements.
