Steve L. Saucier

Mr. Steve L. Saucier, 67, of LaGrange, passed away Monday, April 18, 2022, at Hospice LaGrange. Mr. Saucier was born December 5, 1954, in Atlanta, son of the late Forrest E. Saucier, Jr. and Melissa Larkin Saucier. A 1973 graduate of Hogansville High School, he earned his Bachelor of Science degree from Georgia College in Milledgeville and lived in the Lone Oak Community of Meriwether County before making his home in LaGrange. He co-owned and operated The Flower Market Florist in LaGrange for a number of years, was a member of Allen-Lee Memorial United Methodist Church in Lone Oak,and was a former Mayor of Lone Oak. Survivors include his wife, Loretta Lee Saucier of LaGrange; daughters, Rachel Saucier of LaGrange, Sarah Key and her husband Robert Key of Temple; grandchildren, Emily Jackson and Solomon Delrosario; and his sister, Shea Williams and her husband Doug Williams of Signal Mountain, TN. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Keith Saucier. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 2:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. Sunday. A memorial service will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Allen-Lee Memorial United Methodist Building Fund, %Peggy Parker, 4201 Keith Rd., Hogansville, GA 30230.
