STEVE TERRELL HARPER
Steve Terrell Harper, 55, of Hogansville, died at his home.
Steve was born November 5, 1955, in Atlanta, son of the late Walter and Betty Garrett Meredith, and was raised from the age of three by Terrell (Nub) Harper, Eunice Garrett Harper, and Lawrence (Cooter) Harper. All of his life, he was given unconditional love and the best of care by his Harper family. Steve was a carpenter, was a well-known champion coon dog trainer, and participated in rodeos and was a bull rider during his younger years.
Survivors include his daughter, Lisa Harper; three grandchildren, Trance Lowder and twin girls, Trinati and Jordan Harper, all of Panama City; sister, June Meredith of Greensboro; brother, Walter (Butch) Meredith of Franklin; step-sister, Kathleen Harper Costley of Panama City Beach, FL; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, and nephews.
A memorial service will be 3:00 p.m., Saturday, in the Chapel of Claude A. McKibben and Sons Funeral Home, with the Reverend Jody Mitchell officiating.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 2 until 3 Saturday afternoon.
