MR. STEVE DELOACH

Mr. Steve DeLoach, 80, of Greenville, passed away Tuesday, July 14, 2026, at Baptist Health Citizens Hospital in Talladega, AL.

Born November 6, 1945, in Macon, Mr. DeLoach was the son of the late Ralph Moye DeLoach and the late Faye Jones DeLoach. He was a resident of Meriwether County for most of his life and attended Stovall Baptist Church for many years. Mr. DeLoach drove all over the United States as a truck driver for over 40 years, enjoyed NASCAR, and especially loved his dog, Lady Bug.

Survivors include his daughter and son in-law, Kim and Jason Howard of Talladega, AL; son and daughter in-law, Larry and Michelle DeLoach of Greenville; son, Mark DeLoach of Greenville; brother and sister in-law, John and Kim DeLoach of Carrollton; grandchildren, Ryan Chambers, Hunter DeLoach, and Michael DeLoach; and 2 great-grandchildren. In addition to his parents, Mr. DeLoach was preceded in death by his wife, Evelyn Hellyer DeLoach; and brothers, Larry DeLoach and Danny DeLoach.

Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, July 18, at the graveside in the Greenville Cemetery with the Reverend Terry Rainwater officiating.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 6 until 8 Friday evening.
