Steve Maynard Cash

Mr. Steve M. Cash, 70, of Hogansville, passed away Saturday, June 30, 2018, at Wellstar West Georgia Medical Center. Mr. Cash was born August 4, 1947, in Grantville, son of the late Dewey and Elsie Holland Cash. A resident of Hogansville for many years, he was a veteran of service in the U. S. Marine Corps during the Vietnam War. He retired as a press-stamp operator, was an avid fisherman, and loved being with his grandchildren. Preceded in death by his wife Joan Fannin Cash, survivors include his sons, Micheal and Brandi Cash of LaGrange, Corey Cash of Milton; sister, Sara Owen of Sugar Hill; and nine grandchildren. The funeral service will be conducted at 2:00 p.m., Thursday, July 5, in the Chapel of Claude A. McKibben and Sons Funeral Home in Hogansville, with military honors. The Reverend Mark Peak will officiate and interment will be in Myrtle Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 12:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m., Thursday. Claude A. McKibben and Sons Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
