Shirley Addison Mckeehan

Shirley Addison McKeehan, age 63, of Buffalo, Missouri, passed away March 5, 2024, in Springfield, Missouri.

Shirley was born in Newnan, Georgia, to Theodore Horace Addison, and Irene Bowen Addison on August 29, 1960. She studied at Grantville High School, and later went on to make a career for herself as a seamstress. In her free time, Shirley loved the outdoors, and nature. She often enjoyed spending time feeding the many wild animals that made their home close to hers.

Shirley is preceded in death by her parents, Theodore and Irene Addison; Richard Addison, Perry Addison, Juard Addison, Juiliann Addison Smith, Jerry Addison, and Jeanette Addison Allen. She is survived by her daughter, Jamie Michile Carson and her husband James; grandchildren, Kassie Carson Blakey (Thurman), James Allen Carson, and Arizona Irene Carson; and great-grandchildren, Breyden Sandreson, Ace Blakey, and Willow Blakey.

A memorial service will be conducted at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, May 25, at the graveside in the Grantville Cemetery, with  Rev. Ricky Faulkner officiating and Larry Fogarty giving the eulogy..

Shirley will be truly missed by all that knew and loved her.
