MRS. SHIRLEY L. DRAKE Mrs. Shirley L. Drake, 73, of Hogansville, died Wednesday, October 14, 2009, at Hospice LaGrange. The funeral service will be conducted at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, October 17, in the Chapel of Claude A. McKibben and Sons Funeral Home. Interment will be in Myrtle Hill Cemetery in Hogansville. Born February 2, 1936, in New Port Richey, FL, Mrs. Drake was the daughter of the late Edgar Niles White and the late Rebecca Nettles White. She had lived in Hogansville since 1985, had been employed in banking, but enjoyed her role as a wife, mother, and homemaker. Survivors include her husband, James R. (Jimmy) Drake of Hogansville; sons and daughters in-law, James, Jr. and Gina of Hogansville, Richard and Diane of Franklin, and Randall and Donna of Plant City, FL; grandchildren, Karen, Patrick, Christy, Chloe, and Chase; sister, Patricia Allen of Tampa, FL; and brother, Ronald Mims of Zephyrhills, FL.
