Shirley Gasaway Costley

MRS. SHIRLEY G. COSTLEY Mrs. Shirley Gasaway Costley, 77, of LaGrange, passed away Wednesday, December 10, 2014, at Piedmont Newnan Hospital. Born December 17, 1936, in Troup County, Mrs. Costley was the daughter of the late J. B. and Rosie Dell Daniel Gasaway. She was a lifelong resident of Troup County, retired as a real estate agent from Coldwell Banker and also retired from the Troup County School System after serving as a bus driver and as a teacher's aide at Mountville Elementary. She was Baptist by faith, loved animals, and enjoyed fishing and camping. Survivors include her daughter, Deanna Costley; and her son, Douglas W. (Butch) Costleyand his wife, Beverly, all of LaGrange; granddaughter, Jessica Costley; sister and brother in-law, Faye and John English of Lithia Springs; brother and sister in-law, Ray and Gail Gasaway of Hogansville; and serveral nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Clifford Bradley Costley. The family is honoring Mrs. Costley's wish that no service be conducted. The family suggests that memorial contributions be made to the LaGrange-Troup County Humane Society, 1390 Orchard Hill Rd., LaGrange, GA 30240. Claude A.
