Sherry Lynn Harrington

MRS. SHERRY LYNN HARRINGTON Mrs. Sherry Lynn Harrington, 59, of Woodbury, passed away Monday, February 16, 2015, at Hospice LaGrange. Born November 6, 1955, in Atlanta, Mrs. Harrington was raised in LaGrange and had lived at Woodbury for the past 20 years. She was a member of Cedar Rock Baptist Church at Woodbury, had served as a bus driver for the Meriwether County School System for 17 years, and had also been employed at Circle K in Pine Mountain. Survivors include her sons, Ricky Lamar Smith, Jr. and his wife, Dianne, Thomas W. L. Harrington and his wife, Liz, Roby Arthur Harrington and his wife, Melissa, all of LaGrange; her mother, Ann Fields of Woodbury; sisters, Debra Crenshaw of Pine Mountain, Penny Owen of Mississippi; brothers, Keith Brand and Bubba Brand of Pine Mountain, Michael Fields of Indiana; six grandchildren; and a great-granddaughter. She was preceded in death by her father, Hulett Amos Brand, Sr. The funeral service will be conducted at 1:00 p.m., Friday, February 20, at Cedar Rock Baptist Church in Woodbury. The Reverend Ricky L. Smith, Jr. will officiate and interment will be in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends at Cedar Rock Baptist Church from 6 until 8 Wednesday and Thursday nights. Claude A. McKibben and Sons Funeral Home of Hogansville is in charge of arrangements.
