Sherry Lee Clifton

Miss Sherry Lee Clifton, 59, formerly of the Cooksville Community of Heard County, passed away Wednesday, June 13, 2018, at Molena Health and Rehab in Molena. Miss Clifton was born March 8, 1959, in Franklin, daughter of the late William Lee (Bill) Clifton and Agnes Woodard Clifton. A resident of Heard County most of her life, she was a graduate of Heard County High School and attended West Georgia College. She was Baptist by faith. Survivors include her sister and brother in-law, Joann and Jimmy Paschal; brother, Ronald Clifton, all of Franklin; and nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Scotty Clifton, and her beloved nephew, Devin Clifton. A memorial service will be conducted at 2:00 p.m., Sunday, June 17, in the Chapel of Claude A. McKibben and Sons Funeral Home in Hogansville, with the Reverend Annette Higdon officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 1 until 2 Sunday afternoon. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to any local hospice to assist those in need. Claude A.
