Shelia Hunt Wessinger

Mrs. Shelia Hunt Wessinger, 41, of Hogansville, passed away, Saturday, February 2, 2019, at her home. Mrs. Wessinger was born February 22, 1977, in LaGrange and lived in the Hogansville area most of her life. She earned a Bachelors degree from the University of West Georgia and graduated with highest honors from West Georgia Technical College. She was employed as a registered nurse. Survivors include her husband, Mike Wessinger of Hogansville; daughters, Caitlin Wessinger and Kelsey Wessinger of Hogansville; son, William (Billy) Martin of Atlanta; her mother, Ouida Smith of Lone Oak; sisters, Jamie Hunt and Brittany Longoria of Lone Oak; brothers, Jimmy Lee Hunt, Jr of Roanoke, AL, Thomas Hunt and Nate Smith, both of Beaufort, SC; her grandmother, Evelyn Williamson of Lone Oak; and her mother in-law and father in-law, Barbara and Doug Wessinger of Hogansville. She was preceded in death by her father, Jimmy Lee Hunt. A family gathering to celebrate Shelia's life will be held later. Claude A.
