MRS. SARAH G. WILLIAMS Mrs. Sarah Gaut Williams, 94, of Hogansville, died Sunday, December 16, 2012, at Florence Hand Home in LaGrange. Mrs. Williams was born September 7, 1918, in Strawberry Plains, TN, daughter of the late Joseph Edward Gaut and Lou Bailey Gaut. A resident of the Hogansville area for several years, she was a retired registered nurse and was a former resident of Kentucky and Indiana. Survivors include her daughter and son in-law, Jackie and Dan Russell of Villanova, PA; son and daughter in-law, Mark and Vickie Williams of Hogansville; sisters, Mary Gibson of Jacksonville, FL and Jean Gass of Dandridge, TN; brothers, Charles Gaut of Knoxville, TN and John Gaut of Virginia Beach, VA; five grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, George Troxler Williams. The family will hold a memorial service in Indiana at a later time. Claude A. McKibben and Sons Funeral Home of Hogansville was in charge of arrangements.
