Sarah Denney Mapp

Mrs. Sarah Nell Denney Mapp, 84, of Williamson, and formerly of Coweta County, passed away Friday, September 10, 2021, at her home. Mrs. Mapp was born April 19, 1937, in Randolph County, Alabama, daughter of the late Ocie Lee Denney and Ary Butler Denney. A resident of Coweta County most of her life, she was employed by Uniroyal, Inc. in Hogansville for many years and served as a personal caregiver for fifteen years. She was a member of Ephesus Baptist Church and enjoyed maintaining a vegetable garden each year. Survivors include her daughters and sons in-law, Alisa and Stephen Mullins of Williamson, Sharon and Randy Cantrell of Wedowee, AL; grandchildren, Jonathan Tenney, Jessica Todd, Darrell Hayes, Tristan Montfort; Leann Cantrell, Jenny Waters; great-grandchildren, Amber, Autumn, Allie, Hunter, Ty, Tyler, Lillie, Patricia, Tiffany, Jerry; great-great-grandchildren, Colson and Kayden; and sister, Brenda Coleman of Newnan. She was preceded in death by her granddaughter, Kristy Jordan; four sisters; and two brothers. A private family funeral service will be conducted Monday, September 20, with interment in the Grantville Cemetery. Claude A. McKibben and Sons Funeral Home of Hogansville is in charge of arrangements.
