Sara Clark Kraemer

MRS. SARA CLARK KRAEMER Mrs. Sara Clark Kraemer, 79, of LaGrange, died Saturday, February 20, 2010, at LaGrange Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. The funeral service will be conducted at 2:00 p.m., Monday, February 22, in the Chapel of Claude A. McKibben and Sons Funeral Home in Hogansville. The Reverend Jimmy McMillian will officiate and interment will be in Myrtle Hill Cemetery. Born July 11, 1930, in Cragford, Alabama, Mrs. Kraemer was the daughter of the late Clayton and Zillie Blair Childs. She lived in LaGrange most of her life, was Baptist by faith, and was retired from Mansour's. She loved children and had participated in the Foster Grandparents Program, serving as a volunteer at Hollis Hand and Berta Weathersbee Schools. Survivors include her daughter, Sandra Clark of LaGrange; son, William T. Clark, Jr. of Spartanburg, SC; sisters, Pene Ray of Ft. Lauderdale, FL and Maureen Waldroup of Wedowee, AL; brothers, Morgan Childs of LaGrange and Hubert Childs of Meridian, MS; five grandchildren, Lance Clark of Spratanburg, Heather Clark, of Houston, TX, Brandon Yarbrough and Brian Yarbrough, of Valley, AL, and Tara Terrell of LaGrange; and thirteen great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Patricia Clark Yarbrough. Claude A. McKibben and Sons Funeral Home of Hogansville is in charge of arrangements. Visitation: from 6 until 8 Sunday night, Feb. 21, at Claude A. McKibben and Sons Funeral Home. Services: 2:00 p.m. Monday, Feb. 22, in the Chapel of Claude A. McKibben and Sons Funeral Home.
