MRS. SARA P. DOMENIC Mrs. Sara Pike Domenic, 85, of Hogansville, died Monday, December 29, 2008, at Twin Fountains Home in LaGrange. The funeral service will be conducted at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, January 3, in the Chapel of Claude A. McKibben and Sons Funeral Home in Hogansville. The Reverend Frank Sledge will officiate and interment will be in Myrtle Hill Cemetery. Mrs. Domenic was born May 16, 1923, in Heard county, daughter of the late John Hubert Pike and the late Laura Byrd Pike. She lived in Hogansville most of her life, was a member of Highland Baptist Church, and retired as a lab technician from Uniroyal Goodrich, Inc. after 27 years of service. Survivors include two grandchildren, Tony Domenic of Talladega, AL, and Christy Kennerley and her husband, Chris, of Hogansville; two great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Arnold Domenic, and her son, Ted Domenic. Claude A. McKibben and Sons Funeral Home of Hogansville is in charge of arrangements.
