MRS. SARA JEAN BUGG
Mrs. Sara Jean Bugg, 65, of LaGrange and formerly of Hogansville, died Sunday, May 10, 2009, at Emory University Hospital in Atlanta.
The funeral service will be conducted at 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, May 12, at Antioch Baptist Church in Hogansville. The Reverend Mark Cooper and the Reverend Rick Witter will officiate and interment will be in Myrtle Hill Cemetery.
Born July 22, 1943, in Heard County, Mrs. Bugg was the daughter of the late Lonnie and Louise Bolt Strickland. She lived in Hogansville most of her life, was a member of Antioch Baptist Church, and retired from Uniroyal, Inc.
Survivors include her daughter and son in-law, Samantha and Brad Stitcher of LaGrange; sons and daughter in-law, Robert and Robin Bugg of Grantville and Jeff Bugg of Newnan; sisters, Sybil Gaddy of Hogansville and Wylene and William Herndon of LaGrange; brother, Henry Strickland of Hogansville; grandchildren, Michael Bugg, Zack Stitcher, Mercedez Stitcher, Alaina Bugg, and Briar Rose Christner; step-grandchildren, Chasity and Chris Posey and Chad Barber; step-great-grandson, Alex Posey; brother in-law, Paul (Sonny) Bugg III and his wife, Kay; and a special friend, Peggy Carroll. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ronald C. Bugg; daughter, Shauna Lynn Bugg; and grandson, Matthew Bugg.
Claude A. McKibben and Sons Funeral Home of Hogansville is in charge of arrangements.
