Sandra Rusher-Wilkey

Sandra Rusher-Wilkey, 69, of Gay, passed away Sunday, December 31, 2023, at her home.
Sandra was born July 31, 1954, in Colfax, IL, daughter of the late Loren and Pearl Gibson Rathbun. A Georgia resident for many years, she retired from the Meriwether County School System after serving 24 years as a technology and media specialist. She enjoyed crafting and reading.
Survivors include her husband, Gregory Wilkey of Gay; daughters, Megan Cape (Travis Kee) and Tiffany Wilkey (Jesse Battles), all of Luthersville; son, Aaron Rusher of Austin, TX; brother, Rodger Rathbun of Cooksville, IL; ten grandchildren; and a great-granddaughter soon to arrive.
A private family memorial gathering will be planned.
The family would like to express appreciation to Meriwether County EMS and the Fire/Rescue Squad.
