Sandra Kirk Nesbitt

Sandra Lee Kirk Nesbitt, 82, of Newnan, stepped into glory on Sunday, March 20, 2022. The daughter of the late Martha O. Kirk, Sandra was born in Covington on June 3, 1939. She was a housewife and prayer warrior for most of her life before going to work at age 62 as a top leasing agent for an apartment community in Newnan. She retired at age 72 and was sorely missed as many of the residents thought of her as family. She is survived by her children, Marty Hohmann (Leo) of Moreland, and Tom Nesbitt of Newnan; grandchildren, Joel Hohmann of Atlanta, Lily Hohmann of Kennesaw; a lifelong friend more like a sister, Marcia Maddox Smith (Wendell) of Guyton; and cousin, JoAnne Hyde of Carrollton. A graveside gathering and time of remembrance will be held at 1:00 p.m., Friday, March 25th, at Restlawn Memory Gardens in LaGrange.
