Sandra Jean Morris

Mrs. Sandra Jean Morris, 64, of Hogansville, passed away Thursday, January 16, 2025, at Wellstar West Georgia Medical Center.

Born September 24, 1960, in Atlanta, Mrs. Morris was the daughter of the late Lawrence and Edith Westbrooks. She was a resident of Hogansville for 30 years and was Baptist by faith. Mrs. Morris was always on the go and had a nickname for everyone.

Survivors include her daughter, Michelle Smith (Steve) of Newnan; step-daughters, Dixie Morris and Martha Thacker (Mike), both of LaGrange; sisters, Judy Willingham and Janet Brooks (Rick), both of Riverdale; brother, Steve Westbrooks (Pat) of Conway, SC; 15 grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Morris preceded in death by her husband, Rick Morris; her daughter, Lisa Millar; and her brother, Eddie Westbrooks.

The funeral service will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. Friday, January 24, in the Chapel of Claude A. McKibben and Sons Funeral Home in Hogansville. The Reverend Donnie Skidmore will officiate and interment will be in Faith Baptist Church Cemetery in the Primrose Community of Meriwether County.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 12:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m., Friday, prior to the service.
