Sandra "Sandy" Guin

Mrs. Sandra Savell (Sandy) Guin, 59, of LaGrange, passed away Friday, January 3, 2020, at Wellstar West Georgia Medical Center. Mrs. Guin was born November 28, 1960, in New Hampshire, daughter of the late Newell and Wanda Williams Savell. She was employed as a cosmetologist and attended Dunson Baptist Church. She loved spending time with her children and grandchildren and enjoyed taking care of her customers. Survivors include her husband, Roy Guin; daughters, Dana Sharples of LaGrange, Ayla Elder and her husband Justin of Warner Robins; son, Coy Guin of LaGrange; daughter in-law, Kristy Odom of Vicksburg, MS; sisters, Susan Hazzlerigg of LaGrange, Shirley Beidleman of Phoenix, AZ, Tammy Ortiz of Phenix City, AL; brother, Thomas McClain of Columbus; and seven grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her son, Danny Odom, son in-law, Jamie Sharples, and sister, Gloria Knoch. The funeral service will be conducted at 1:00 p.m., Friday, January 10, in the Chapel of Claude A. McKibben and Sons Funeral Home in Hogansville. The Reverend Kenneth Cole will officiate and interment will be in Myrtle Hill Cemetery in Hogansville. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 6 until 8 Thursday night. Claude A. McKibben and Sons Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
