Sandra J. Allen

Mrs. Sandra Johnson Allen, 76 of Newnan, passed away Monday, May 4, 2020, at Piedmont Newnan Hospital. Born January 22, 1944 in Newnan, Mrs. Allen was the daughter of the late Elmer and Ethel Johnson. She was a lifelong resident of Coweta County where she had worked at area hardware stores, including Johnson Hardware, Ace Hardware, Home Depot, and Lowes. Mrs. Allen loved cooking, tending to her flowers, and canning her vegetables. Survivors include her son and daughter in-law, Chip and Melissa Allen of Newnan; daughters and son in-law, Donna Hunter of Sherwood, AR and Terry and Mark Frederick of Luthersville; grandchildren, Joshua Hunter, Jonathan Hunter, Paul Frederick, Matthew Frederick, Cody Allen, Owen Allen, and Zac Brown; and her beloved dog, Roxy. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Allen was preceded in death by her sisters, Clara Musick and Jean Banks. A private family service will be held.
