Sally O'Kelley Humphries

MRS. SALLY HUMPHRIES Mrs. Sara (Sally) O'Kelley Humphries, of Grantville, passed away Thursday, January 8, 2015, at Newnan Health and Rehabilitation. Mrs. Humphries was born March 11, 1940, in LaGrange, daughter of the late Robert Leon O'Kelley, Sr. and Sara Holle O'Kelley. A resident of Grantville most of her life, she was a member of First United Methodist Church of Grantville, where she had served as a member of the choir and as an assistant pianist. She was the wife of the late William Humphries. A former member of the Grantville Senior Center, she enjoyed scrapbooking and serving others in the community with her kind and giving friendship. Survivors include her brother, Dr. Robert Leon O'Kelley, Jr. and his wife, Janet, of Atlanta; niece, Holle O'Kelley Kennerly and family of Columbus; and her best friend and caregiver, Norma Tucker Landreth of LaGrange. The funeral service will be conducted at 1:00 p.m., Friday, January 9, at the graveside in the Grantville Cemetery, with the Reverend Darris Baker officiating.
