Ruth Johnson Yarbrough

Mrs. Ruth Johnson Yarbrough, 94, of Hogansville, passed away Monday, October 1, 2018, at Wellstar West Georgia Medical Center. Mrs. Yarbrough was born September 19, 1924, in Carroll County, and lived in Hogansville most of her life. She retired from Uniroyal, Inc. after many years of service and was a member of Faith Baptist Church in LaGrange. She was preceded in death by her husbands, Lewis Quillian Yarbrough and Claude Hulet Johnson. Survivors include her sons and daughter in-law, Tony and Donna Johnson of Hogansville, Ronnie Johnson of Panama City Beach, FL, and Lamar Johnson of Hogansville; step-son and daughter in-law, Sherman and Lynn Yarbrough of Panama City Beach; granddaughters and their husbands, Crissy Pursley and Lamar Hancock, Brittany and Cody Lynch; great-grandchildren, Aden Hancock, Brody Lynch, Bowen Lynch and Reece Lynch; and sisters in-law, Ethel Johnson and Ruby Haynes. The funeral service will be conducted at 4:00 p.m., Wednesday, October 3, in the Chapel of Claude A. McKibben and Sons Funeral Home in Hogansville. The Reverend Brandon Brooks will officiate and interment will be in Myrtle Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 6 until 8 Tuesday night. Claude A. McKibben and Sons Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
