Ruth Justiss Denney

MRS. RUTH J. DENNEY Mrs. Ruth Justiss Denney, 93, of Newnan, died Saturday, March 20, 2010, at Savannah Court of Newnan. The funeral service will be conducted at 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, March 23, at the graveside in the Grantville Cemetery, with Don Bowden officiating. Born October 15, 1916, in Grantville, Mrs. Denney was the daughter of the late Warner Nathaniel Justiss and the late Eva Rosser Justiss. She was a lifelong resident of Coweta County, was retired from Vendall Corporation, and was a member of Mills Chapel Baptist Church. Survivors include her step-son, James Denney of Newnan; step-daughter, Virginia Rickman and her husband, Jack, of West Palm Beach, FL; step-grandchildren, Christy Newman and Joseph Newman; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, James Lambert, who died in World War Two; by her husband, L. M. Denney; and by her son, James Edward Lambert. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to First United Methodist Church of Grantville, P. O. Box 245, Grantville, GA 30220. Claude A.
