Rudie David Bowen

Mr. Rudie David Bowen, 48, of West Point, passed away Sunday, August 30, 2020, at Wellstar West Georgia Medical Center. Rudie was born June 2, 1972, in LaGrange, was a lifelong resident of Troup County, and was formerly employed at Publix in LaGrange. He enjoyed fishing and playing horseshoes, but especially loved being with his family. Survivors include his mother, Earlene Bowen; his fiancée, Courtney Echols, both of West Point; brother, Danny and Lynn Bowen; sisters, Frances Bowen, DeeDee and Ricky Floyd, Catherine and Bo Longshore, Becky Bowen and Wendell Tarwater, Regina and Clint Moman, all of LaGrange; and a number of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins. He was preceded in death by his father, Hugh David Bowen. The funeral service will be conducted at 4:30 p.m., Wednesday, September 2, in the Chapel of Claude A. McKibben and Sons Funeral Home in Hogansville. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 2:30 p.m. until 4:30 p.m., Wednesday. Claude A. McKibben and Sons Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
