Ruby Dutton Trentham

Mrs. Ruby Lee Jones Dutton Trentham, 79, of Hogansville, passed away Sunday, December 9, 2018, at Wellstar Kennestone Hospital in Marietta. Mrs. Trentham was born September 17, 1939, in Dekalb County, daughter of the late Lee and Pauline Ergle Jones. A resident of the Atlanta area most of her life, she was Baptist by faith, had been a member of the Adair Park Action League, and had lived in Hogansville since 2004. She assisted her late husband in the operation of Dutton's Hydraulic Services and later worked for Seals and Stamps Unlimited in Marietta. Survivors include her children, Arthur Dutton of Atlanta, Ola Jane Stanfield and her husband Bill of Toccoa, Verner Dutton of Hogansville, Terry Dutton and his wife Pam of Thomaston, Joyce Blount and her husband JR of LaGrange; fifteen grandchildren; and a number of great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, James Richard Dutton; her daughter, Gladys Amos; and her granddaughter, Amanda Dutton. The funeral service will be conducted at 2:00 p.m., Sunday, December 16, in the Chapel of Claude A. McKibben and Sons Funeral Home in Hogansville. The Reverend Terry Rainwater will officiate and interment will be at 3:30 p.m.in Friendship United Methodist Church Cemetery in Fayetteville. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 5 until 8 Saturday night. Claude A. McKibben and Sons Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
