Royalty A'Leah Carter

Royalty A'Leah Carter, one month-old daughter of Martiyana Johnson and John Carter, Jr., of LaGrange, passed away Friday, April 4, 2025, at Wellstar West Georgia Medical Center. Royalty was born March 2, 2025, in LaGrange.

In addition to her parents, she is survived by maternal grandparents, Terrence Johnson and Sylvia Edmondson, both of LaGrange; paternal grandparents, John and Sherry Carter, also of LaGrange; maternal great-grandmothers, Mary Johnson and Evelyn Jennings; maternal great-grandfather, Jerome Edmondson, all of LaGrange; and aunts and uncles, Zaylin Edmondson, Dustin Carter, Jordan Reece, Iris Newton, Miracle and Jeffrey Newton, and Keri Miller.

The funeral service will be conducted at 4:00 p.m., Sunday, April 13, in the Chapel of Claude A. McKibben and Sons Funeral Home in Hogansville, with the Reverend Tina Deese and the Reverend Christopher Wheat officiating. Interment will be in Cedar Rock Baptist Church Cemetery at Woodbury.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 3:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m., Sunday, prior to the service.
