MR. ROY L. WRIGHT Mr. Roy L. Wright, 73, of Hogansville, died Friday, September 9, 2011, at Hospice LaGrange. The funeral service will be conducted at 2:00 p.m., Monday, September 12, in the Chapel of Claude A. McKibben and Sons Funeral Home in Hogansville. The Reverend Jody Mitchell and the Reverend Tommy Wright will officiate and interment will be in Mrytle Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 6 until 9 Sunday night. Born August 30, 1938, in Whitesburg, Mr. Wright was the son of the late James Walter Wright and Evelyn Brown Wright. He lived in Hogansville most of his life, was a graduate of Hogansville High School, and was a member of Springhill Baptist Church. He retired from Mutual Savings Life Insurance Company after serving as an agent over 35 years. Survivors include his sons and daughters in-law, Tony and Cindy Wright and Chris and Teresa Wright, all of Hogansville; grandchildren, Nickie and Josh Crawford, Bubba Barrett, Dustin Moore, and Brian Moore; and four great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife, Barbara Allen Wright. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Hospice LaGrange. Claude A. McKibben and Sons Funeral Home of Hogansville is in charge of arrangements. Visitation: from 6 until 9 Sunday night, September 11th, at Claude A.
