Roy Ralph Hendrix

Mr. Roy R. Hendrix, age 83 of LaGrange, Georgia, passed away Saturday, August 22, 2026, at his home.

Born February 14, 1943, in Graham, Al, Mr. Hendrix was the son of the late Henry Hendrix and Willie Louise Cunningham Hendrix. He was a lifelong resident of LaGrange and was a member of Springhill Baptist Church. Never one to sit still, Mr. Hendrix retired from the City of LaGrange Transportation Department and then worked for CarQuest for a number of years. He was a "jack of all trades", loved to serve his church, and was the greatest Christian man you'll ever know.

Survivors include his wife, Judy Hendrix of LaGrange; son and daughter in-law, Roy and Shelly Hendrix, of Roanoke, AL; sisters, Linda Hubbard of Valley, AL, Louise (John) Shipp, of Titusville, FL, and Mary Nell Hendrix, of Franklin; grandchildren, Amber Hendrix, Dawson Holloway, and Hunter Bass; and 4 great-grandchildren. In addition to his parents, Mr. Hendrix was preceded in death by his first wife, Mavis Hendrix; 3 brothers; and 5 sisters.

The family will host a celebration of Mr. Hendrix's life at 11:00 a.m. Friday, August 28, at Springhill Baptist Church with the Reverend Jody Mitchell officiating.
