MR. RONNIE POWELL Mr. Ronnie Powell, 48, of Hogansville, died Thursday, June 28, 2012, at Hospice LaGrange. The funeral service will be conducted at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, June 30, in the Chapel of Claude A. McKibben and Sons Funeral Home in Hogansville. The Reverend Dalton Hammock and the Reverend Jody Mitchell will officiate and interment will be in Myrtle Hill Cemetery in Hogansville. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 6 until 9 Friday night. Mr. Powell was born April 16, 1964, in Franklin, lived in Troup County all of his life, and was employed by JB Systems in LaGrange. He attended Springhill Baptist Church, enjoyed all sports, and was an avid fisherman. Survivors include his son, Devin Powell of Hogansville; his parents, James and Ann Powell of LaGrange; four brothers, James W. Powell, Edmond E. Powell, and Lester A. Powell, all of Hogansville, Tommy R. Powell of LaGrange; and several nieces and nephews. Claude A. McKibben and Sons Funeral Home of Hogansville is in charge of arrangements.
