Ronnie Wayne Hubbard

Mr. Ronnie W. Hubbard, 80, of Grantville, passed away Sunday, March 31, 2024, at Brightmoor Hospice in Griffin.

Mr. Hubbard was born February 20, 1944, in Griffin, son of the late Otha Hubbard and Pearlie Hazel Dingler Hubbard. A U.S. Army veteran of the Vietnam War, he was a retired over-the-road truck driver. He was an avid golfer, had a vast knowledge of The Bible, and was known to be able to quickly answer every question when watching his favorite television show, Jeopardy.

Survivors include his wife, Nancy Meadows of Grantville; his daughter, Christy Hubbard (Angus) and her son Candler Clark, all of Lilburn; Nancy's son, Chris Loveless (Melinda) of Grantville; Nancy's grandchildren, Kristina Decatur (Stoney), Brittany Perez (Andrew), Emily Loveless, C J Loveless, Autumn Cherry (Corey), Ana Coates (Trey), Jackson Brittenham (Emma), and Justin Smith who passed away in 2015; and Nancy's great-grandchildren, Kason, Gunner, Xyliee, and Sofia.

The funeral service will be conducted at 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, April 2, in the Chapel of Claude A. McKibben and Sons Funeral Home in Hogansville. Neal Billingsley will officiate and interment will be in the Grantville Cemetery.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 12:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, prior to the service.
